Is Steadfast: Cultivating a Heart Like Mary a Catholic Study?
Although "Steadfast: Cultivating a Heart Like Mary" does not originate specifically from a Catholic point of view, we have many Catholic readers who enjoy the fresh insights offered by the devotional and study. We also have many non-Catholic readers who are thankful to join this guided reflection on the life of Mary.
As we embarked on the "Steadfast" project, we realized how very little has been written about Mary from a general Christian point of view. We theorized that since the Catholic faith has such deep honor for Mary, perhaps Protestants unconsciously distance themselves from a reverence for the Mother of Christ, fearing that they would be viewed as worshiping her more than God Himself. We feel that in "Steadfast" we have merged the two worlds with a fresh non-denominational awe and gratitude for the young woman from Nazareth.
How long will it take me each day?
We have created the study to take between 15-30 minutes per day. The devotional will take four to five minutes to read, and the DECLARE Bible Study Approach another 10-25 minutes depending on how much time you can set aside. The study is divided into four weeks of five days per week, but the time frame can be adjusted to fit into your interest and need. We have harnessed the simple power of "less is more" and "quality over quantity." With our focus on one verse for one week, we open God's Word and ask Him to speak.
What do I receive?
All orders will receive the same content. The only difference is whether you order the digital package or the print package. The digital package contains everything for download and viewing on your computer at home. The print package contains everything in physical form shipped to your address, except for the video series which all purchasers will view online. Both the digital and print packages contain the same items: (1) Steadfast: Cultivating a Heart like Mary; (2) four scripture art prints, one for each week of the study; (3) a DECLARE Bible Study Approach bookmark; (4) DECLARE video series that presents our simple five-day system to dig into God's Word; (5) A Heart Prepared: Savor the Story of Christmas; (6) The Flourish Experience 4-part Video & Audio Teachings to accompany Steadfast and A Heart Prepared.
What's the schedule for the Bible study?
This study is designed as a self-guided study to be pursued at your own pace. The 4-week devotional and study are divided into four weeks of five days per week, but the time frame can be adjusted to fit your interest and need. You are invited to join our private Facebook group where our community of women will be sharing our insights as we immerse ourselves in the life of Mary.
